Birmingham commercial property agents, KWB has secured the sale of a headquarters-style office building at Meriden Business Park to Bond Estates, the property investment wing of H.W. Coates Holdings.

2010 Meriden Business Park is a 15,279 sq ft, two-storey office building with 80 car parking spaces. It is situated in the village of Meriden, just off the A45 between Solihull and Coventry, with good access to Coventry and Birmingham city centres and the M42, M6 and wider motorway network. Neighbouring occupiers include The British Showjumping Association and stationery company Nuco International.

Malcom Jones, Director of Office Agency at KWB, secured the sale with joint agents, Holt Commercial, on behalf of Kennedy Wilson. KWB has been retained to let the building, which will undergo an office refurbishment programme to help answer demand for high quality office space within the Solihull and M42 corridor.

Malcolm said: “Meriden Business Park is an established and highly successful office development and we’re pleased to be bringing forward a high quality product to a market that is desperate for office space.”

Richard Perry, Managing Director at Bond Estates, added: “2010 Meriden Business Park was an ideal investment to strengthen our commercial property portfolio and a perfect example of the type of HQ office product we are actively seeking to purchase. We are confident that this property will flourish under our ownership.

“KWB impressed us with their expertise and local knowledge throughout the purchase process, so we’re delighted to retain them to bring forward high specification workspace that occupiers are seeking for their employees.”

KWB markets some of the most exciting commercial property projects in the Midlands. In addition to our presence in Birmingham city centre, we are the largest office agency in the region specialising in out-of-town office developments.

The M42 and Solihull out-of-town office market benefits from excellent communication links, as well as a wealth of local amenities. This makes the area an obvious choice for businesses looking for a strategic office location. For more details contact Malcom Jones:
